Virtual Concert Featuring FLETCHER

As a member of the Wisconsin Alumni Student Board (WASB), I was delegated the task of producing a school wide concert during our All-Campus Party series. Usually, the event takes place during the spring, as hundreds of eager students get the chance to attend a concert for free. However, when I was initially given this role, there was no pandemic in sight.

Putting on a last minute virtual concert that would be attended by the masses tested my professional ability to succeed under pressure. Therefore, I had to work with what I already had. I created a form to gather any music industry connections from my peers and colleagues. After reaching out to various A&R representatives and artist management companies, I was finally able to contact FLETCHER’s team.

With the set budget in mind, I negotiated with a representative from her label to confirm all details. Luckily, FLETCHER was more than willing to participate in such a lively UW-Madison tradition!
