Soundwall Music Festival
I'm incredibly proud to have helped bring the inaugural Soundwall Music Festival to life at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco.
Conceived by Erp Phillips, Soundwall was created to celebrate the past, present, and future of underground alternative music, bringing together a lineup of seminal and emerging shoegaze and alternative bands including Ringo Deathstarr, Her New Knife, Blossom, Suzy Clue, Starling, and Misandrist.
As part of the organizing team, I helped scout the festival lineup and develop the social media strategy, highlighting both legendary acts as well as uplifting the next generation of underground talent. We were very lucky to have support from our friends at Bandcamp, White Crate and Great American Music Hall. It takes a village to make a first-year festival happen, and it was so cool to see everyone come together to turn a big idea into a packed room, an unforgettable night of music, and the beginning of what I hope becomes a lasting tradition in the Bay Area.
Endlessly inspired by the creativity and passion that Erp Phillips brings to every project she touches, and by the vision & persistence it took to dream this festival into existence. I'm grateful to have been part of building its first chapter!
